Professional biography:
David Keith is the President of Garner International, a search practice he established with his partner in 2000. The company formally operated as Boyden, which he set it up in 1990. He was on the world Board of Boyden for 7 years.
David is a UK citizen and began his career with Monsanto, Europe. He then spent 12 years working in the Asian markets as a Principal attached to the Anglo Thai Corporation.
This was followed by a series of senior appointments in the healthcare industry over the next 18 years. During this time he set up and ran manufacturing companies, negotiated joint ventures and licencing agreements and carried out acquisitions throughout the Asia Pacific Region. Based at different times in Hong Kong, Jakarta, Seoul and Sydney, David held senior line and staff positions with Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers and Schering-Plough.
David is also a founding Director of Strategic Intelligence, a company formed to create and distribute high-quality proprietary intelligence to global business leaders and government decision-makers. He was also on the Board of Governors of the Singapore American
Chamber of Commerce for 6 years up to 2005 and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. He is a Columbia University Alumni and participates on panels at INSEAD and the Chicago School of Business advising MBA students. He is a permanent resident of Singapore.
