Professional biography:
Bernard Perry focuses on Board and senior executive appointments across manufacturing, engineering and professional services and is particularly known for his work in the aerospace, defence and homeland security sectors. Over the past 16 years he has recruited for businesses in the UK, Continental Europe and also in Australia and South Africa.
Bernard’s executive search career began in 1994 and he has worked for three leading international search firms in London and the north of England. Most recently he was a Partner in the Industrial Practice at Odgers, where he led the Aerospace & Defence sector. He also understands the unique requirements of quoted and privately owned companies across a wider variety of sectors throughout the UK.
Bernard spent his early career in Brussels, where he worked at the European headquarters of an American industrial market analysis and competitor due diligence consultancy. He is a Chemical Engineering graduate from Swansea University, a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society and a fluent French speaker.
