Leonardo Costanzo

Graduated in Political Sciences from LUISS in Rome, with an MBA from the IE Business School in Madrid, Leonardo joins Trevisearch in 2023 as Senior Vice President. Leonardo’s professional career began in the marketing of Colgate Palmolive, before moving to Alitalia where he held the position of Marketing Manager for Italy of Galileo (now Travelport) based in Swindon (UK) and subsequently General Manager for Scandinavia, based in Oslo. He subsequently returned to Italy to take care of the start-up of Amadeus, the world’s leading ICT group in the world of travel, of which he was appointed CEO and which he quickly became a leader in the Italian market. He was then called to Trenitalia to manage the Intercity business unit, key product of the railway offer in terms of territorial coverage and number of passengers transported.

After a period spent in the Uvet American Express Group, as CEO of the TNS-Information Technology System company, he joined the world leading luxury group LVMH, as General Director of the Cova company. On behalf of the Luis Vuitton group he takes care of the corporate reorganization of Cova and the expansion into Asian markets.

In 2016, a radical change in his professional field occurred for Leonardo, when he was called by the Mayor of Rome to direct the Department of Commerce and Tourism of the Capital. Here he began a journey that would lead him to hold various government positions, such as Head of the Secretariat of the Minister for Relations with Parliament, Advisor to the Minister for Public Education and finally head of the Secretariat of the Vice-Minister for Health. Lastly, he was entrusted by the Mayor of Rome with the role of President first and Sole Director later, of the company Diritti per Roma Spa, a subsidiary of Roma Capitale operating in the sector of urban planning and territorial development of the city.
