Ian Lloyd founded Oxygen in 2000 – drawing on a wealth of experience gained through over 20 years in executive search and a background in HR to create a firm focused on meeting client needs through personal service and professionalism.
Ian focuses on Board and senior executive appointments for UK and international clients in Industry, Retail Financial Services, Consumer & Retail and Sport & Leisure. He recruits Chairmen and Non-Executive Directors for quoted companies and works across a variety of functional areas including General Management, HR, Finance and Marketing.
A Social Science graduate, Ian’s early career was in HR management with Massey Ferguson. Moving into recruitment consultancy with MSL, he gained international experience running offices in Continental Europe, the Middle East and North America. He returned to HR in HR Director appointments with Alfred Dunhill and Grindlay’s Bank respectively. He was appointed Managing Director of Odgers in 1996, leading the business through a period of successful growth.
