An economics graduate from the University of New England in Australia, Brigitte’s career spans across two continents Europe and Australia. She started in marketing and sales with L’Oreal Diparco France and returned to Australia to take a Marketing position with L’Oreal Luxury division. In 1987, Brigitte having returned to Paris, broaden her marketing experience into the communication sector by joining the advertising group, Publicis.
In 1993, following her interest to contribute to business performance through people and to explore the various models of leadership and their impact on business, Brigitte started a new career in executive search and recruitment with one of the leading local Australia firms. She managed and completed assignments ranging from midlevel to senior executive positions principally in the Sales, Marketing, Communications, General Management, Human Resources and Logistics functions across a number of industry sectors, encompassing consumer markets, telecommunications, transport and logistics, and finance and banking.
Brigitte founded The DHR Group in 1997, a boutique HR professional services specializing in Executive Search and Selection, Senior Manager Interim Solutions and Leadership and Talent Assessment & Development. The DHR Group is also engaged in external benchmarking projects as well as internal assessment for succession planning purpose. Its client list includes a number major global organizations as well as ‘Blue Chip’ Australian businesses across the consumer goods, finance and banking and manufacturing sectors.
In addition to search and assessment, Brigitte works closely with organizations on talent attraction & retention strategies particularly around employment branding and employment value proposition.A significant proportion of The DHR Group’s engagements come from existing long term clients.
