AltoPartners 8th Global Meeting in Philadelphia – June 6-7, 2013
The 8th Global Partners Meeting of AltoPartners took place in Philadelphia on June 6th and 7th.
Since the 2012 Global Meeting in Madrid, the AltoPartners Alliance has continued to grow and strengthen its global presence significantly. Six new Partner firms have joined the Alliance in the last 12 months, consistent with the business plan.
AltoPartners Chairman, Jean-Philippe Saint-Geours, comments:
“Turkey and Colombia are new and strategically important flags on our map. We have also increased our impact in Germany, China, Australia and Austria with additional Partners. We have reached the critical milestone of 30 countries, operating from 47 cities, and the number of “new countries” now exceeds the 14 original founding countries which formed AltoPartners in 2006. Indeed, it is a new day for our Alliance, and an evidence of our growth maturity. We have enhanced capabilities which make us a truly global force in the field of retained executive search. Now, with our impressive geographical coverage and our comprehensive range of sector and functional Practices, we are fully equipped to offer our clients globally a wide scope of services to address their talent needs in this dynamic business environment”.
The agenda of the Partners meeting, which was hosted by Diversified Search and attended by more than 100 Consultants, was focused on developments in our industry, with an impressive range of external speakers. Internally, we reviewed our strong competitive positioning in the global executive search industry and concentrated our discussions on enhanced initiatives and processes to develop our flow of cross-border business in support of our client needs. Ambitious geographical and Practice goals were set, and the Partnership looks forward, with confidence, to the year ahead.
