On 30 March 2016, Corinne Klajda represented Accord Group/AltoPartners Poland when she participated on a panel discussion with business leaders from 3 of the top global Executive Search firms. The webinar served to highlight the importance of working with well-regarded executive search firms and pointed to the fact that companies are having to actively evolve to ensure they remain successful.

Within the discussion on navigating the 2016 Hiring Trends, Corinne Klajda pointed to the fact that by virtue of the complex, multi-cultural world that we operate in, organisations are increasingly looking for talent who not only have the technical aptitude and experience, but who increasingly display value-based, behavioural aspects; such as “soft” leadership skills, learning agility and flexibility. Senior leaders are increasingly expected to be agile and able to quickly change and adapt to meet the changing consumer landscape and their ever-changing needs. While the technical skills and experience will always be “given” criteria in any search that is conducted, Corinne and her team increasingly search for candidates that will also fit the culture of the organisation - it is the combination of the skills, competences and the fact that they will fit with the corporate culture that leads to sustained success in the organisation.

About Corinne Klajda

Corinne Klajda joined Accord Group ECE in May 1999 as the head of the Consumer Goods & Retail Practice, in East & Central Europe, based in Warsaw, Poland. In 2005 Corinne acquired Accord Group in Poland and Russia (MBO), and established a second company advising on Human Resources management consultancy projects & Leadership Services. In 2006, Accord Group founded with other leading executive search firms AltoPartners, today a global alliance with 48 offices in 30 countries, where Corinne is today leading the Consumer Goods, Retail & Luxury Practice since 2008. Corinne came to Accord Group ECE after spending ten years in Asia, where her experience included heading the Shanghai and Beijing Offices of executive search firm Ray & Berndtson where she worked on expatriate search assignments in a variety of industries. Prior to her executive search career, Corinne was with International SOS Assistance as a Regional Sales Manager for China and with Halliburton, as a Regional Sales Administrator for Greater China.

A graduate of the Beijing Language and Culture University, Corinne completed a MA in Chinese philology. Corinne also completed an executive MBA programme from the CEIBS and is an accredited and licensed Executive Coach. Corinne has a growing Executive Coaching Practice since 2001 with clients across Europe. Corinne speaks English, French, Mandarin Chinese, Polish and Creole.
