Profile: Nalini Perkins and Zack Reynolds , Managing Directors Diversified Search

AltoPartners, the international alliance of independent executive search and leadership consulting firms, is proud to welcome two new Managing Directors/Partners to the Diversified Search team. Nalini Perkins has joined the firm’s Washington D.C office as Managing Director in the Non-Profit Practice and Zack Reynolds has joined as a Managing Director in the Healthcare Practice based in the Chicago office.

Nalini Perkins brings more than 20 years of experience in the recruitment of senior executives for organizations across the nonprofit, healthcare and public sectors, both domestic and international. She brings a particular focus on nonprofit organizations including global development, relief agencies, foundations, social services and faith-based organizations. She recruits senior-level executives for national and international health and welfare organizations, cultural institutions, faith-based organizations, community service/civic organizations and professional associations, as well as hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers and women-focused nonprofit clients.

Previously, a Managing Partner at Lochlin Partners, where she conducted searches at the CEO, COO, CFO, and Vice President levels, as well as direct reports to these positions. Nalini led numerous searches in the areas of Development/Fundraising, Marketing & Communications, Programs and Business Development, and Human Resources. Prior to Lochlin Partners, Nalini spent more than a decade working as an Executive Director of the Nonprofit Sector at Russell Reynolds Associates. There, she helped to significantly grow this sector and practice with a focus on excellent client work and an ability to quickly grasp client needs and cultural fit. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Nalini worked as an Associate at Heidrick & Struggles and at Human Resource International (HRi), a boutique search firm specializing exclusively in Human Resources.

Before beginning her career in executive search, Nalini spent several years with the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in both Research and Clinical roles. She is published in the fields of eating disorders and long-term recovery, and the existence of genetic markers for schizophrenia.

Nalini received her BA in Psychology from The Catholic University of America and completed her graduate work in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Illinois State University.

Zack Reynolds brings nearly two decades of executive level search experience, with a heavy emphasis on the provider side of healthcare. He has extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry having completed senior level search assignments for clients, including large multi-state delivery systems, academic medical centers, schools of medicine, rural healthcare providers, physician groups, associations and other not-for-profit organizations.

Zack began his career in the late 1990s as a research associate with Norman Broadbent International where he was responsible for research strategy, candidate development, and database management.

Most recently he served as a Partner at Quick Leonard Kieffer (QLK). He was one of the founding members of QLK when the firm was established in 1999. In 2004, Zack left QLK to serve in a corporate HR function for a Fortune 500 company (Starbucks) and later as a Senior Associate for Slayton Search Partners. He rejoined QLK in 2007 and had served as a Partner since 2011.

Zack holds a BA from Canisius College and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago.
