Michael Corry, a Partner at Hayashi Partners, focuses on the industrial segments of the market. Over the course of his career, he has specialized in energizing underperforming businesses in the Asia Pacific region. Having worked with numerous multinationals in the industrial sector, Mr. Corry has a deep understanding of the cultural and operational challenges facing these markets. In addition to executive search services, Mr. Corry offers consultative support and expertise to firms that believe leadership change and/or counseling can improve their performance dramatically.

Prior to joining Hayashi Partners, Mr. Corry was Vice President of Sales – Japanese OEMs for Eagle Ottawa based in Tokyo, Japan. As a member of Eagle Ottawa’s Executive Leadership Team, he was responsible for the commercial leadership of the Japanese automotive accounts globally. Additional career experience includes various senior commercial leadership positions throughout Asia at Husky Injection Molding Systems and Johnson Controls. He is a retired Major in the U.S. Marine Corps (Reserve).

Mr. Corry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Masters of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
