Hannes joined AltoPartners in May 2025, representing the pinnacle of his 30-year career in executive search and leadership development. He has extensive experience placing senior leaders across various sectors, including industry, wholesale and retail, banking, insurance, logistics, and multiple service industries. His expertise also includes management diagnostics and leadership development, having evaluated and trained numerous executives for their professional competencies and leadership behaviours.

Having begun his professional life as an HR manager, Hannes switched sides 30 years ago and has been an enthusiastic consultant and people manager ever since. He also has hands-on management and operational experience, having spent two years leading a large operations unit in the pharmaceutical industry. For 18 years, he served as an equity partner at a consulting firm, guiding it through various economic cycles. Following his invaluable experience as Head of Operations in the pharmaceutical sector, he most recently held the position of Managing Director at a leading Austrian HR consultancy before joining AltoPartners. Hannes has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and is fluent in German and English.
