Dennis Kaltofen

After earning Master degrees in Business Economics and Leisure Studies at the University of Tilburg, Dennis started a career in consulting. Soon after that he became the first and only digital marketeer at a Dutch retail bank. The experience of corporate innovation ignited the start of real entrepreneurship. Dennis started a consulting agency, which was later incorporated in a newly founded strategy unit of the largest web agency in The Netherlands. He left the company, set-up and led an agile delivery center & innovation lab for HCL technologies, followed by a (managing) partner position leading the management consulting & business agility practices at Xebia, after which he became a director and member of the Dutch senior leadership team at Ordina (now Sopra Steria, a global Consulting & Technology service provider). For over 15 years, he fulfilled roles in which he was end-responsible for the P&L and built and managed high performing teams up to ~150 people. In addition, he was a trusted advisor and program lead in many large (strategic) transformation projects in international and multi-vendor ecosystems.

With an extensive 25+ years in the digital & technology domain, Dennis has seen how technology enabled innovation and digital transformation can empower businesses and improve the value offered to clients of these organizations. However, in order to achieve real exceptional outcomes, exceptional human talent and the right leadership are essential to drive change. As he learned and evangelized over the years: also in a Digital World, it is always about People.

That’s why Dennis has shifted gear and moved to Leaders Trust: to focus completely on helping clients select, build and grow their high performance teams. Again as an entrepreneur, as part of a boutique firm with a global reach.

On a more personal note, Dennis is married and has two daughters. Active at sports (tennis, golf), but currently not as much as he used to do. Foodie and wine lover. Bingewatcher and movie omnivore. Loves the unknown and loves to travel. Enjoyed a sabbatical leave beginning of 2024 and travelled the world with his family.
