Marco holds an MBA from the OU Business School, UK, and graduated from Hofstra University, New York, USA with a Bachelor in Business Administration. Previously he passed a bank apprenticeship in Germany.

In 1998, Marco started as Consultant at a renowned executive search boutique in Germany. Since then, he has worked his way through more than 800 search projects in a variety of sectors. Starting off with managing searches for Partners, he soon developed himself to become Junior Partner and successively built up his own client portfolio. Besides executive search, Marco is regularly assigned for executive onboarding mandates.

Since 2011, Marco has been a Partner within the Executive Consulting Group where he covers the Financial Services, Energy, Consumer Products and Manufacturing sectors. He also has significant experience in working for private equity portfolio companies. In 2017, together with his regional partners, Marco became a founding member of AltoPartners Germany. Due to his Italian ancestry, he often spends his leisure time with his wife and twins in Tuscany, Italy.
