Dr Thomas Heyn, Partner and co-founder of Jack Russell Consulting / AltoPartners Germany

Thomas has a PhD in labour law and is a member of the German bar, but is equally at home talking all things tech, having spent his corporate career in senior roles for blue-chip tech companies. A global business enthusiast with an entrepreneurial mindset, Thomas’s unique perspective makes him a trusted confidante within AltoPartners and among his many clients. He loves nothing more than an invigorating discussion followed by a brisk walk in the foothills of the Alps where he currently lives, accompanied by Whoppi, the poodle.

WHAT DID YOU STUDY AND WHY?

Initially, I thought I would follow in my father’s footsteps and become an engineer but it soon became apparent that I had neither the talent nor the inclination to become a credit to the engineering profession.
