Olivier began his career at the Ministry of Economy and Finance where he held various responsibilities.
First as an economist in the Forecasting Directorate and then as a financial attaché in Moscow before joining the Treasury in Paris where he was in charge of cooperation with the ACP countries and the Franc Zone and then, in the department of economy financing, as Deputy Director of Insurance.
He left the administration in 2003 to join EDF, where he led the restructuring of debt and the sale of subsidiaries in South America. He then became Deputy Chief Executive Officer of EDF Energies Nouvelles in 2009 and CEO of EDF ENR, which he refocused on the development of photovoltaics, particularly for self-consumption.
He joined Amundi Real Assets in 2016 as Director of Development and ESG issues.
He turned to consulting and joined Leaders Trust in 2024. Recognized for his know-how in private asset management, sustainable finance, renewable energies and the development of new business models, Olivier Paquier advises senior management in fast-changing sectors such as energy, asset management and green finance.
